A novice naturalist! I have observed many incredible creatures in my back garden in New Jersey. We have deer passing through, as well as foxes that stop by on occasion. A coyote was spotted in the meadow behind our house by my upstairs neighbour last year. Raccoons galore. Lovely birds (cardinals, chickadees, nuthatches, woodpeckers, tufted titmice, blue jays are regulars). Coopers Hawks last year scared away most of our wild birds for about three weeks. Beautiful butterflies frequently visit my mother's lovely flower garden.

I grew up in Southern Africa and have always been interested in wildlife. All creatures and plants great and small! Also interested in environmental and ecological issues.

Discovered the magnificent osprey this summer. Have fallen for them in a big way. Following many nestcams but would love to see them in real life.
