I love nature! Hiking along creeks, swimming in the ocean, or exploring forest trails-- there are always treasures of knowledge and inspiration to be found. My passion for and appreciation of nature led me to complete a biology degree and pursue a career in conservation. I am currently Senior Communications Coordinator with Point Blue Conservation Science (www.pointblue.org) where I help to share science-based information and messages with various audiences about conserving ecosystems, centering around the concept of using birds and other wildlife as indicators of environmental health.
