Microbiologist by trade but photographing the "macro" is a little easier.

I like to go on hikes and enjoy gardening, my hikes are kind of slow because I stop so frequently to take pictures of things I find interesting! I enjoy picking up the trash while I go and volunteer for environmental cleanups.

As a microbiologist I do enjoy finding nice fluffy molds! I've only recently learned more about lichens and find those very interesting as well.
I like learning all about plants, and have an interest in birds (if only they would sit still when I try to snap a picture!).
Moths, butterflies, fish, and bugs I find gross but interesting.... Also hard to photograph so I mostly stick to the plants!
