Currently living in the greater LA area, but field work as a botanist for an environmental consulting firm takes me all over California, and occasionally out of state. I love IDing plants for both work and play! When I'm not working I love spending time outdoors backpacking (thruhiked the PCT in 2017), hiking, or car camping.

I have a BS in Environmental Science & Management (concentration in Ecology, Biodiversity, & Conservation) with a minor in Plant Biology from UC Davis, and a MS in Biology (concentration in Ecology, Evolution, & Conservation Biology) from SF State. I've worked the California field season for about 9 years now. I love California and it's abundance of plant diversity! Always learning and being inspired.
