I love fungi and mycology. I also track large animals. I spend a good amount of time going deep into the wilderness.

I've been casually gathering and researching fungi since growing up in Oregon (Forest Grove) in the 1990s.
Around 2003, I saw Paul Stamets speak at the Bioneers conference in San Rafael, CA, and his research and insights peaked my interest further.

Living in Mount Shasta (Northern California), I spend lots of time exploring the wilderness of this area, discovering various fungi, and cooking edible mushrooms.

I've a Masters degree in Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness (California Institute of Integral Studies, 2003), and in this context, I've a particular interest with on-going mycological research and applications toward biomemetic resources for systems design, for mycoremediation, and for psychoactive properties toward influencing human health and consciousness.
