My first and most enduring interest has always been birds. I remember being gripped off by my kindergarten friend after he saw a Snow Bunting, (my introduction to the competitive world of observing birds!...). As with many birders, my focus expanded to butterflies, odes, moths and now pretty much all insects, (next up are the leafminers!). I presently conduct various insect surveys for conservation groups and environmental companies, and faithfully run a moth trap in my downtown Brampton yard.
