Hello, My name is Michal Kreiselman, or Danin-Kreiselman. I teach biology at Kennedy High-School (in Granada Hills) for the last 15 years. I've always loved the outdoors to hike and explore, even when I find less and less time for it. Luckily, my`10 year old son, Gideon, is also into nature, and we often find ourselves going to short hikes, especially with the Young Birders of the San Fernando Valley. In fact, I first learned about the specialproject and iNaturalist from YBSFV.

Since my 2nd year of teaching, I have taken all of my students (10th grade) to ecological field trips, and this year we will go as well. I hope to get my current and future students involved in the citizen science projects in their area (San Fernando Valley) and anywhere they go to.

Looking forward to using iNaturalist regularly, and to meet other participants in the local meetups.
