I am a retired educator, part-time children's minister, and become a Texas Master Naturalist in 2019. I only have a minor in Biology, but have a great interest in the natural world. My happy place is outside in nature, especially when I have my camera with me.

Through being out learning and taking pictures my interest in birding has increased tremendously. The challenge of capturing pictures of birds I have never seen before has become quite addictive for me!
