I am a recently retired Anesthesiologist with a keen interest in bird photography. To exercise my interest, I am actively exploring surrounding nature trails. This time of year (Late October to February) is a great time to see birds during their annual migration from colder northerly climes. I am also interested in the ecology of coastal areas, from mangrove swamps and pine flatwoods. In addition, I am cultivating milkweed to attract monarch butterflies, and maintaining birdfeeders for monitoring and photographing birds that visit Florida during the winter months.
