I am a PhD student at the University of Sydney studying the genetic basis of resistance to the fungal pathogen myrtle rust in Myrtaceae.

I was awarded a Dahl Fellowship from Eucalypt Australia in 2023 to begin and manage the Gum Tree Guardians project. The project aims to monitor the spread of myrtle rust in Australia. You can get involved here:
