I have always considered myself an amateur naturalist. Developed an interest in plants and especially trees as a Boy Scout, Studied ornithology with Dr. Mumford, Worked at a couple of state parks as a naturalist, Completed a Masters degree in Forestry and Natural Resources Management at Purdue University. I’m still curious every time I see a different plant or animal which, thankfully, is almost every day.
