I like observing plants in the urban fabric.

Currently trying to finish a PhD in water management, but in the last few years I have taken a strong interest in plants - mostly those around me in the Cape.

In particular I enjoy visiting the Rondebosch Common and getting to know it closely. I am also interested in the Southern African Plectranthus species (nowadays Plectranthinae) as well as tugging on some threads relating to a group of inconspicuous Lobelias (Mezleriopsis).
