I have had an interest in nature all my life. But now that my children are grown, I find I am able to spend more time birding and viewing and plant and animal life. I have been lucky to have gone through the training as a docent in Topanga State Park and the UC California Naturalist class at the Dominguez Rancho Adobe and then in Cambria at Camp Ocean Pines. I am looking forward to learning more and increasing my knowledge of, and ability to identify, birds and plants.
