I am an animal advocate and strongly believe in using education to encourage responsible companion pet ownership and wildlife respect. While living in Louisiana I was on the board for PAWS of NE Louisiana. During that time, I would take different animals on TV and discuss appropriate care, respect and facts regarding that animal. I also was a guest speaker in elementary schools discussing animal advocacy and the value each creature brings. I am a professional photographer and have had the great privilege of recently going to Africa, a photographer's dream. While in Uganda I also spent a day doing volunteer photography for 501C animal rescue. Closer to home I dedicate some of my volunteer time to Dallas DogRRR, a local rescue. I do their networking and marketing photography. Living on acreage with a large reservoir lake behind, I am blessed to see wildlife of all species. I am looking forward to becoming better at sharing all I see and photo's on iNaturalist. I am also a Blackland Prairie Texas Master Naturalist.
