I love being in the woods, pausing to get up close to take pictures of plants, listening to birdsong, crossing creeks in my trail running shoes, exploring trails with my friends. I live in the mountains of southwest Virginia which is blessed with such biodiversity, mountain vistas, countless trails, sweet, hidden places to explore.
