I grew up spending lots of time outside playing with bugs and toads, planting flowers, collecting rocks and feathers, sitting outside in the late afternoon with my parents watching the sun go down. So it’s not surprising that when I was in grad school in Austin, Texas in the 70’s that I took a class in native plants. I have maintained that interest and landscape with native plants and host plants. My yard is full of birds, butterflies,and hummingbirds. I nurture the spiders, too. I am currently a trainee as a Texas Master Naturalist and learning so much in that program! I am always finding odd things that stump me so welcome some help in figuring them out!
