This page is ran by a small, but very active and dedicated, RSPB group in the Durham catchment area, in the North East of England. Through this, we aim to contribute our findings observed in the field, collectively and collaboratively to display the beauty of our local nature and contribute to a wider scientific database!

We have a full programme of indoor and outdoor meetings throughout the year, with regular specialists, professionals and volunteers in their respective fields. The group welcomes new members, both RSPB members and the general public. Friendly help is on hand at field meetings to assist newcomers who would like to improve their bird (and other organisms) identification skills.
