Hi there. I go by Salty, short for Sultana. I lived on a boat for years, so the name just fit.
Spent most my years in management working with sports teams, Orlando Magic Basketball , Solar Bears Hockey, RDV Sportsplex for Richard DeVos. Retired, then went to work for Gander Mountain. I love the outdoors! Started out in management, was a buyer, then moved to operations. I was always surrounded by other outdoor enthusiasts. Whether it was hunting, fishing, kayakers, hikers… I loved the great stories, but the best part was being outdoors. I’m a picture taking fanatic. I purchased myself a beginner 35mm camera. I’ve been absolutely hooked ever since.! Then of course I wanted to know everything there is to know about all the fun wildlife I find. iNaturalist has been great. I tell everyone about it! Thanks for having such a cool app. I’m working on my photography skills. There’s so many knowledgeable people here to help and there’s some phenomenal photographers as well! This has become my hobby and favorite pastime. Im looking forward to slowing down a bit so that I can focus more here :))
