Hi, I'm Sam, 38 years old, living in Leipzig/Germany. I started rediscovering nature, especially insects and spiders, around 2020. I got myself a cheap older Canon and looked for animals, only to discover that there are hundreds of them around me, especially small species like jumping spiders, combfoot spiders, weevils, aphids. I am educating myself more every day on spiders, flies, leaf hoppers and all sorts of other critters.

I'm a disabled queer author and trained developer, currently looking into starting a new career, and spend my spare time taking photos, working on my own little wiki, painting, gaming, cooking and doing different arts and crafts.
