Finally retired after teaching middle school science for 45 years. I consider myself an amateur naturalist who loves to study plants, insects, and birds. I've planted SAV with middle schooler, raised tomato plants from seeds flown on the space shuttle, and collected data on macroinvertebrates for the Maryland Dept. of Natural Resources.
