I study botany and I'm a graduate student at San Francisco State University. I also work at the University and Jepson Herbaria at UC Berkeley and was part of the editorial staff for the 2nd edition of The Jepson Manual of California Vascular Plants. My thesis research explores the evolutionary relationships of the red flowered Silene (Caryphyllaceae) of California.
