I have been fascinated by the natural world since growing up at the beach in Southern California. I have an Undergraduate degree in Aquatic Biology and a Masters degree in Zoology but worked for only a very short time in the fields. Since relocating to Northern California in the 1980's I have satisfied my passion for nature by volunteering with a variety of organizations including the Sonoma Ecology Center, Wildlife Fawn Rescue and Bouverie Preserve.
