Hi! I'm a PhD student studying boreal ecosystem ecology. I'm particularly interested in mosses, lichens, and other cryptogams. Originally from California but I work in Alaska and live in Canada. I'll mostly be posting things I don't know (ie. not mosses and lichens), but will happily help ID those tricky cryptogams. Trying to keep my ID skills sharp in the absence of a field season.
