An lifetime avid hiker, I've always enjoyed observing nature. I usually have a camera attached to me. As a docent at Calaveras Big Trees State Park, being among the ancient giant Sequoias and their surrounding lands never ceases to awe me. I briefly worked in landscape design (edibles were my specialty) in MI and in CA and eventually retired as a chiropractic doctor. As a doctor, I taught seminars for gardeners and landscapers on how to use their bodies and tools correctly. Currently, I am designing and planting my small plot of land with native, edible, and/or usable plants.

I am now a certified CA-Naturalist.
