I am currently living in Dickinson, ND and enjoy exploring the ND Badlands at Theodore Roosevelt National Park and the Painted Canyon every summer. I have loved animals and nature my whole life and would like to learn more about observing wildlife in our natural world and properly recording these observations that it may be utilized in science to further help in conservation efforts.

I like to say I am an naturalist, but I am more of an armature naturalist, that most of what I do is for me and not for any other purpose except for that I like doing it. I have been keeping field notes of my observations and findings, what I hear and see, and have tried my hand at wildlife photography but only for personal means, now I hope to learn the proper way to record my findings that it may aid in research. I have collected insects from a young age and absolutely fascinated with the creepy crawlers. I would say I am a novice birdwatcher, I only just started this hobby a few years ago when in college in MN. I know there is so much more for me to learn in this field than what I have done so far and hope to gain experience to hopefully become a wildlife educator some day to share my love for nature and wildlife with everyone. By continuing to study and observe wildlife and nature through this site or wherever I am at, and having conversations with professionals I hope to make that dream come true.
