Grayish crust on rotten decorticated deciduous wood. Thin, gelatinous and of sugary aspect. Thinning out arachnoid. Smells agreeable after being wet. Spores: 7.4-7.9 x 3.7mu. Cystidia inflated and exuding a substance through tip. Clamps present and cystidia with crystals at tip/ Capitate cystidia also seen. 4 sterigmata, and clamp at base of basidium.
