My camera was an hour off for this time zone, so I arrived about 4:15 PM, and these things were all warmed up and super hard to try to photograph. Pretty quickly I learned that by sitting still they'd come right to my shade, and I could sometimes get a dorsal shot that way. I expected much, much, heavier maculation. I didn't see any with maculation approaching the plates in Pearson et al. This one basically looked like lengi to me, but very much on the wrong side of the continental divide.
