Many thanks to Aaron for reminding me that these exist and inspiring me to go and look for them. I've tried to separate the observations so each shows an individual moth in an attempt to show some of the variation. All were observed on the host plant, Sesuvium verrucosum, all were perched and not showing much other behavior, most did not seem to want to fly and preferred to crawl away if I got too close, though it was very windy so maybe that kept them from flying.
Note that there were a few individuals of Epilobium brachycarpum around, the host for the related Aetole extraneela, but these moths were exclusively on the Sesuvium.
