Species- L. microveliae
One of two Microvelia parasites along with L. leechii. Perithecium more divergent than L. leechii, and receptacle cells III-IV undifferentiated (fused into larger cell) unlike L. leechii.
Many specimens were collected from M. beameri or unidentified M. spp. However, this specimen was found on M. americana (likely a first for the species). As with earlier descriptions, the fungus was observed on the legs of its host.
