What

Frosted Sac-winged Bat (Saccopteryx canescens)

Date

May 5, 2018

Description

I found this small group of bats below a trunk that used to be part of an improvised bridge. There were also several Glossophaga soricina under the same bridge. I tagged them as Saccopteryx (S. canescens o S. leptura maybe), but the "spots" on the nose, and the way they hang together also make me think this could be Cormura brevirostris (which would be a very interesting record for Bolivia).
