In beach drift on sand, high tide line.
This spectacular pelagic snail is only slightly larger than a milimetre! It was a huge excitement when I found it on the beach with nakes eyes, a couple months after hearing about those pelagic snails being found at my friend!
Actually I found two of these in the day, however I accidentally damaged the aperture of the other specimen.
Note 1.: The shell is whitish transparent except the part around the middle which is purplish brown. The blueish colour is because of the black background and the lighting.
Note 2.: The "spots" seen on the shell in the last photo are crystals of salt (NaCl), because of the remaining saltwater which I could not wash off due to the size and the fragileness of the specimen.
