385 Small green fern forming large thickets generally in semi shaded areas under the canopies of trees. Ferns growing in exposed areas and in rock cracks the leaves get quite burnt, or dried out. In the shadier spots the fronds can be quite large. Venation is noticeable on each pinnae.
