Habitat: scattered on decorticated conifer wood with Comatricha nigra and resupinate fungus. Sporocarps 0.1-0.42 mm. Peridium: thick, opaque, red-brown, dehiscing along defined ridges, papillate with a single row of warts along margin of plates. Spores: (9.4)9.9-10.8(11.1) µ; reddish in mass, pale reddish-brown by LM; minutely warted.
