One of the last pieces of lowland fynbos in the urban area, designated for development. The erf feeds into the beautiful Tarka kloof, which is adjacent to the historic Tarka community. Stone age tools have been found on the site. Being in an urban area it is open to all kinds of abuse. This site should be conserved.Ten redlisted plant species have been recorded on the terrain.
