On large wood chip pile, looks like at least some of the chips are coniferous. Growing in clusters, caps start out mostly white and ages brown. Caps and stem are scaly. Spore print is white. The largest cap is about 2" across, smaller caps are about 1" across. Spore print photo shows a cut slice of the stem among the mushrooms, not a lot of color change. Doesn't have the big skirt-type ring, either. I'm guessing this is something in the Lepiota family, but I'm not sure what.
