Description

The resemblance is uncanny. First images of living specimen I can find online, although I am not sure if the other images are really of dead or living specimen. Also iNat genus record. These were actually quite abundant at night on the ends of palmetto fronds and were not very well hidden. They can very easily be found on the most visible surface of the palmetto fronds, but particularly those of saw palmetto. The habitat these were found in was a hydric hammock very close to a swamp.
