I think - not 100% sure, thallus more greyish-green to dirty brown-green and way more spongy than I am used to.

Are these late season specimens?

Anyway, very common on shallow, rocky reef mostly covered in fine sand at low tide mark.

Associated with Corallina officinalis, Chaetomorpha coliformis and Hormosira banksii.
