Description

Showing its paired, curled egg sacs, protruding from its host, the nudibranch, Antiopella fusca. Although I. belciki may infect other species of nudibranchs, including Triopha catalinae, on the Oregon coast it is by far most prevalent in A. fusca, infecting in some years over 80% of local populations.

Scanned from a 35 mm slide.
