Hooray! Spring has finally sprung in New Jersey! 1st herp of the year, found under a "sucker board" near my garden mulch pile. I've found uncountable individuals of this hardy, adaptable, and extraordinarily common species over the years (since I was in Kindergarten!) - and every one I uncover still brings a smile to my face!
