Acromyrmex versicolor.
Minor, media, and major workers foraging and conducting nest maintenance. Also, at least 2 dealate females present and active. The queens were even observed ‘helping’ with nest maintenance/building.
This nest consisted of a single (probably new), unadorned entrance hole – located about 10 ft away from a complex of typical, but abandoned A. versicolor nest craters.
