What

Oklahoma Grasspink (Calopogon oklahomensis)

Date

May 2012

Description

Note the stigma flat on the surface of the column. All Calopogon species have this feature except C. tuberosus, which has the stigma somewhat tucked under the anther or otherwise approximately perpendicular to the column surface.

This plant was from my graduate research in the 1990s.
