Uncommon and probably 'Threatened' - confined to limestone crevices, walls and near inaccessible ridgelines (places where mouflon (Ovis orientalis) cannot reach. Local people now regard this species as 'extremely uncommon and highly threatened on the Monte Albo - when once it had been considered locally 'common'.

I saw no flowering plants or evidence of past flowering.
