This orchid grows wild out in a semi-swampy area of open wet ground. These are not cultivated nor planted. I expect they are in Spathoglottis and I have thought they might be Spathoglottis plicata. But the purple flowered S. plicata does not seem to spread of its own accord. Thus I am wondering whether this is perhaps another species of ground orchid.
