On five week old incubated deer dung; spores 70-75µm x 8-9µm, asci around 150µm, pseudothecium 1mm wide. Actual name Sporormiella subticinensis.

First described by Dugan, Roberts and Hamlin in Mycologia 87 (5) in 1995. Paper shows photographs of asci and spores but not of fruitbody. This is the first photograph of a S. subticinensis fruitbody.
