Voucher specimen D.Nicolle 7613 (original + F1 seedlings).

Tree 11 metres tall. Bark mostly smooth, cream, with <200 mm irregular tessellated bark at base. Adult leaves dull, green. Growing on hard red soil with outcropping rock in lancewood woodland with Corymbia setosa subsp. pedicellaris and Eucalyptus exserta.

Seedling leaves elliptic to broad-lanceolate, slightly discolorous, dull, green, underside of midrib sparsely hairy. Stems terete, hairy.
