Tree to 7 metres tall, canopy very straggly, drooping and open. Bark rough throughout. Leaves dull, slightly setose becoming glabrous. New growth reddish. Common here, in forest dominated by Eucalyptus miniata and E. tetrodonta and with some Corymbia bleeseri, C. porrecta and E. tectifica.
