Tree 15 metres tall. Bark rough and flaky, yellow-brown. Adult leaves dull, blue-green. Buds very glossy, yellow. Flowers white. Growing on slope with Corymbia hendersonii.

Seedling leaves slightly discolorous, dull, green, peltate, hairy. Stems hairy.
