Description

Nilgai dung pellet being rolled by a pair of Dung Beetles. Nilgai were introduced to the King Ranch in the 1920s and have been flourishing ever since. Approximately 12,000 Nilgai are present on this division of the King Ranch. Although quite large, they are very elusive.
