On steep slope of road 1.8 mi from Bristlecone Pine NF heading towards Dyer NV the slope above eastern side of road is covered with lupine, buckwheat, paintbrush, and more in dense profusion. The generous rains/snow this past winter doubtless contributed to the rich bloom.
