Catalina Walkingstick (Pseudosermyle catalinae)

Description

The insect was large, but thin. The legs were bent and very thin, and the body was a mostly straight "stick". This species is the only kind of walkingstick on the whole island, and I'm very excited to be the first INaturalist user to record it! It crawled out of the Coastal Sage Scrub and along the lab wall.
